What is the “AIDOS approach”?

First, it means reinforcing the expertise and technical, managerial and organizational capabilities of our local partners and individual operators in all our projects.
AIDOS doesn’t have expensive offices on the field. All resources are used to support the projects’ local partners for specific training, technical assistance and missions to monitor and assess the results attained in keeping with the needs identified when the projects were planned and implemented.

With this approach, AIDOS can ensure that its activities are sustainable. And that means that they can be continued even after funding ends the projects formally ends.
AIDOS uses international-level consultants for the technical assistance and monitoring it provides. These experts include gynecologists, obstetricians, psychologists, economists, communication and advocacy experts. All of them are highly motivated and put their considerable abilities at the service of marginalized women.
When looking for the right people, AIDOS takes their motivation and their experience into consideration.
We also recognize the importance of managerial consultation and training, along with financial monitoring. This is organized directly by the AIDOS administrative staff.
